  • Mom of two children, Caroline and Adam.
  • Barrie resident since 1996.
  • Retired Advanced Care Paramedic with over 11 years of experience serving Barrie and the County of Simcoe.
  • Daughter is following in her footsteps and aspires to be a police officer.
  • Had a strong voice in the successful implementation of Ontario’s ‘PTSD Bill’, Bill: 163, and Canada’s ‘PTSD Bill’, C-211.
  • BHSc from Victoria University, for which Natalie won the Outstanding Achievement Award.
  • Educator and curriculum developer for over 9 years with Georgian College’s Paramedic Program.
  • Public Speaker and advocate for mental wellness. Natalie has travelled across Canada sharing her personal story of recovery from post traumatic stress disorder, depression and addiction. She has been in recovery for over 4 years now.
  • Founder of Wings of Change Peer Support in 2016 which provides solution-based peer discussion for first responders, health care providers, correction workers and other community heroes.
